Salary:

Eligibility Criteria:
Education Qualification:
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in the relevant branch for each discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
- System Discipline: 1st Class Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT or equivalent, or any engineering degree with MCA.
- Candidates appearing in the final year/semester of their qualifying degree and meeting the above marks requirement may also apply, but they must provide final results during document verification.
GATE Qualification:
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified in GATE 2024 in the relevant paper.
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and technical skills in the respective discipline.
- Proficiency in handling engineering tools and software related to the field.
Documents Required:
- Recent Passport-Size Photograph: Scanned and not older than 3 weeks.
- Signature: Scanned signature in black ink.
- Proof of Date of Birth: Matriculation or Secondary Board level certificate or Admit Card.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Mark sheets of all semesters/years of Graduation/Post-Graduation.
- Degree or Provisional Degree certificate for Graduation/Post-Graduation.
- If currently in the final year of Graduation/Post-Graduation (2023-2024): Upload the latest semester mark sheet and a conversion certificate (if CGPA to percentage conversion applies).
- Caste/Category Certificate: For SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), a valid certificate as per the Government of India format.
- PwBD Certificate: Issued by a competent authority in the prescribed format.
- EWS Certificate: Valid Income and Asset certificate for 2023-2024 as per Government norms.
- Ex-Servicemen: Discharge or Service Certificate.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): For candidates employed in Government/Semi-Government/PSUs.
Document Verification:
Original documents and self-attested copies are required for verification during the interview or selection stages.
Medical Standard:
Candidates must meet CIL’s medical standards before final selection.
Selection Process:
- Shortlisting:
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE 2024 scores.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for document verification and further selection processes.
- Tie-Breaking:
- If two or more candidates have the same GATE score, the one with a higher percentage in the qualifying degree will be ranked higher.
- In case of a further tie, the older candidate will be given preference.
- Final Selection:
- Based on GATE 2024 scores, with final merit lists published by CIL.
Training:
- Candidates will undergo training for 1 year as Management Trainees in E-2 Grade.
- Upon successful completion, they will be promoted to E-3 Grade with a probationary period of 1 year.
Place of Posting:
- Candidates may be posted anywhere within Coal India Limited’s subsidiary companies, including coalfield areas across India.
- Candidates are required to provide three location preferences, but the final posting will depend on vacancy availability and CIL management’s binding decision
