Eligibility Criteria:
Education Qualification
- Full-time three-year LLB or five years integrated Law/LLB course with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

- Recent passport-size color photograph (white background, 50 KB, .jpg). Keep extra copies for future use.
- Signature (Blue/Black Ink, 50 KB, .jpg).
- Date of Birth Proof (Matric/Birth Certificate, 3 MB, .pdf).
- Qualification Certificates and Mark Sheets (all semesters/years, 10 MB, .pdf).
- No Objection Certificate (for Government/PSU employees, 3 MB, .pdf).
- Caste/EWS Certificate (if applicable, 3 MB, .pdf).
- PwBD Certificate (if applicable, 3 MB, .pdf).
- Scribe Certificate (for PwBD candidates, 3 MB, .pdf).
- Ex-Serviceman Discharge Certificate and related documents (if applicable, 3 MB, .pdf).
- Certificate of Fitness (for Disabled Ex-Servicemen, 3 MB, .pdf).
- Dependents of Ex-Servicemen Certificate (if applicable, 3 MB, .pdf).

Selection Process:
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- CLAT 2025 (Post-Graduation Admission): Candidates must appear for CLAT 2025. The minimum qualifying marks will be as set by CLAT authorities. If no specific qualifying marks are set, PGCIL will use the following criteria:
- Unreserved/EWS categories: 40%
- Reserved categories: 30%
- Shortlisting for Group Discussion (GD) & Interview: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CLAT 2025 scores for GD and Personal Interview. The shortlisting will be done category-wise.
- Qualifying Marks in Interview:
- Group Discussion: No qualifying marks.
- Interview qualifying marks:
- Unreserved/EWS categories: 40%
- Reserved categories: 30%
- Weightage of Selection Parameters:
- CLAT 2025 Marks: 85%
- Group Discussion: 3%
- Personal Interview: 12%
- Empanelment: Only candidates who qualify in both CLAT 2025 and the Personal Interview will be considered for empanelment. Shortlisting for final selection will be done category-wise, based on merit and the number of vacancies.
- Offer of Appointment & Pre-employment Medical Examination: The appointment will be issued to selected candidates in order of merit and based on requirements. The final appointment is subject to clearing the Pre-Employment Medical Examination as per PGCIL’s health standards.
Note: Candidates can choose to appear for the GD and Interview in Hindi or English.
Training:
- One-year training as Officer Trainee (Law). Upon successful completion, candidates will be absorbed as Officer (Law) at the E2 level.

Application Process:
- CLAT 2025 Registration: Candidates must register and appear for CLAT 2025 (for post-graduation admission). The registration closes on 15th October 2024. For details, visit CLAT 2025 website.
- PGCIL Online Application: The application window for PGCIL will be open from 7th November 2024 to 27th November 2024. Candidates need to register at the PGCIL website under CAREERS > Job Opportunities with their CLAT 2025 Application Number, Roll Number, and other details.
- CLAT 2025 Admit Card: Candidates must retain their CLAT 2025 Admit Card/Hall Ticket for verification during the Group Discussion, Interview, and at the time of joining.
- How to Apply:

- Apply online. No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Email & Mobile Number: Candidates must have a valid email ID and mobile number, which should remain active for at least a year. These will be used for communication throughout the recruitment process.
